Emma is our founder and an experienced L&D Consultant with over 20 years’ service in the industry.

Her background in retail, telecommunications, M&D and health care alongside Operational Leadership and Management ensures she is able to put your people and business at the heart of your development solution.

Emma’s passion in creating learning environments that inspires change and empowers people to develop from their experiences is key. Her ability to mobilise the team at ‘emd inspire’ to facilitate engaging events where people are able to absorb the content and become self-motivated to make a real change back in their organisation is why she does what she does today.

Our NLP, MBTI and TMSDI guru, Emma has the tools and knowledge to really challenge behaviour and provide impactful leadership development, from all encompassing programmes through to bespoke one on one experiences.

Tell us a little bit about your passion for baking:

“I’m pretty creative and love food, so baking for me is the perfect combination of the two. It helps me to relax, even when the pressure to create a special cake for family or friend, is on!

I think the most adventurous cake I undertook, stemmed from a slight misunderstanding. My friend called to ask if I could bake a birthday cake, knowing her daughters birthday was in the next few weeks I said yes of course, what sort of cake would they like, a fish cake came the reply. So, there is me picturing a simple goldfish in orange buttercream, so I said yes of course. The following day when the picture and further details landed of who and what the cake was for (her brothers 40^th birthday and needed to feed around 30 people – no less) the fear hit – I’d already said yes and I couldn’t let them down… I think my most challenging, creative yet rewarding bake was in the making and I personally think I “reeled” this one in…
